A Brief Intro to Phoenix City Hall: Departments, Meetings and City Services

The Phoenix City Hall is the chief administrative building of the city of Phoenix, Arizona State. The building has a staggering height of 368 feet with 20 well planned floors and is located in the downtown of the city. The hall was established in the year 1994 by chief architect Langdon Wilson. The present city hall is the successor of the old city hall located in Calvin C. Goode municipal building.

The building is the epicenter of all the administrative activities in Phoenix. There are various departments functioning from the building to keep the city running smoothly. From this building the people can get information about how to donate to city programs, learn about city management from the city manager's office inside the building and can attend a council meeting. There are several other facilities like the information about city budget, elections, public records and many more.

There are over 32 various departments operating in the Phoenix city hall. The City Auditor Department supports the city manager, staff and the officials. It provides feedback on city's program to state the status of the use of city's resources. Some other departments includes Human Services - Family Advocacy center, Aviation, IT Services, City Clerk and "Community and Economic Development".

The city has a well organized and structured public transit department, who looks after the total modus operandi of the transportation in the city. Then the city can boast about its quick response fire department. Under their watch the city can feel a lot safer now.
