Encanto Park

The central Phoenix, Arizona, houses the public park Encanto Park. The park is comprised under 222 acres of land and consists of a boat house, lagoon, and picnic areas. An amusement park, nature trail, two golf courses and fishing facility are the added attractions at the Encanto Park. About 7.5 acres is occupied by the Lagoon which has a surface area of nearly 6 feet with a depth of about 1.8 msq.

Another attraction for Phoenix travel at the Encanto Park is the 'Enchanted Island" which is an amusement park. The games, rides, a small train and the vending attracts several thousand tourists every day.

There are several facilities available for the visitors at the Encanto Park. Prominent among them are :

Paved access, Boats available on rent to visitors, Groceries, Live bait fish for those who opt to go for fishing, Restaurants, lodging, Tables, parking area, Drinking water and Rest rooms. The park is accessible to handicapped people. No private boats are allowed inside the Encanto Park.

If you opt to go fishing, you will need an Urabn fishing license. The fish species you can expect are:

Largemouth Bass, Sunfish, Rainbow Trout, Catfish, Tilapia, and Carp.
