The Desert botanical Garden hosts world's finest collections of desert plants. This is one among the 4 botanical gardens which were accredited by the American Association of Museums. The garden provides inspiring experiences to more than 300,000 visitors every year.

The garden is open all day in the week and round the year except July 4 (thanks giving day) and December 25th. The working hours of Garden are from 7am to 8pm daily. The children under the age of 3 are admitted free in to the garden. The admission fee for adult is $15 and for senior $13.50. The charges for college students and children above 3 are $7.50 and $5 respectively.

The five thematic trails of the garden are Desert Discovery Trail, Plants and people of the Sonoran desert trail, Harriet k. Maxwell dessert wildflower trail, Sonoran Dessert nature trail and Sybil B Harrington Cactus & Succulent Galleries. The other activities and attractions in the garden are landscaped park, displays for kids, music in the garden, butterfly exhibits and the gift shop.
