
Sun Devil Stadium Phoenix: A Wonderful Place to Enjoy the Exciting and Emotionally Charged Football Game
Sun Devil Stadium of Frank Kush Field is an outdoor football stadium built in 1958 and is the home of Arizona State University Sun Devils football team. This stadium is the best place to accommodate 73379 football spectators and it has Sun Devil logos painted on the stadium's facade.
The stadium has got Carson Student Athlete Center, three-storey ultra-modern press box along with 30-suite levels of skyboxes and 8 additional private suites. There is a television production room with complete editing and camera equipment to give spectators live and replay views of the game and also booth space for broadcasters. A matrix board displays the messages and statistical information for the spectators.
Most of the matches held in the stadium are played by ASU along with 9 other teams like USC, Oregon, UCLA, Stanford etc. Favorite game of spectators is mostly the match between Arizona Wildcats and Sun Devils.
Athletic department is centralized in one facility in order to have better communication between coaches and administrators. The training rooms are provided with all facilities and equipment required for warming up of the participants.
This stadium is also the current site of annual Insight Bowl and it hosted first stand alone Bowl Championship Series National Game. This stadium hosted many concerts by various famous artists like Pink Floyd, Rage against the Machine etc. This place has been setting for many movies from past few years.
It is the one of the most dynamic and beautiful collegiate stadiums in the nation. But as the engineers neglected to build a waterproof structure, it is estimated that $45 millions are needed for its repairs to maintain it beyond 2010.
