The Waterworld Safari Phoenix closed after its 2008 season. The park under a new management is scheduled to reopen in June 2009 with the new name 'Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix'. Wet 'n' Wild is located in Pinnacle Peak Road, at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Park.

Wet 'n' Wild Water Park Phoenix is spread on 25 acres and features the world's first dueling water coaster called Maximum Velocity, in which the riders race on tracks side by side.
