The Phoenix Public Library operated by the City of Phoenix is a municipal library system serving the city. It originated in the year 1897 when a citizens group raised funds for starting a library. Currently, there are sixteen branches of the library operating throughout the city.

Tuesday -9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Saturday - 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Sunday - Varies according to the branch.
