
Phoenix Zoo Events Information
Designated as a Phoenix Point of Pride, Phoenix Zoo has been committed to caring and protecting wild animals. Today the zoo is home to more than 1300 animals. To arouse the public's compassion and love for wildlife, Phoenix Zoo hosts a nice list of special events each year. Today we'll share with you the 2011 Phoenix Zoo events info.
March, 2011
On March 26 & 27, Koala Exhibit will be staged at Phoenix Zoo. It's actually a going away party for us to say goodbye to our cute koala friends, Kobi and Sooky. They're going to return to their home, the San Diego Zoo. We really appreciate of the happy time we spent together with these furry cuties.
Koala Exhibit will last from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. On the occasion, you can take photos for memory or sign an oversized goodbye card to Kobi and Sooky. Want to joins us? Click here for more info:

April is a busy month for Phoenix Zoo. Several special events are coming up soon. To give you a glimpse of all events held in April, we've listed them below:
Orang-Hutan: "People of the Forest" Member Preview: April 8, 9, & 10
Orang-Hutan: "People of the Forest" Grand Opening: April 11
Dia del Nino: April 17
Earth Day, Party for the Plant: April 23, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Bunny Brunch: April 23, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Rock the Zoo: April 29, 7 - 11 p.m.
The family of orangutans has settled at Phoenix Zoo. They're coming from the forests of Borneo. To celebrate the new home of our great apes, a series of special events will be held in April. The sneak peek is exclusively available to zoo members. On April 11, the grand exhibit will be officially open to public. For further info on this event, please visit:

Dia del Nino is a celebration of children, animals and culture. Music, folkloric dancers, games and animal pinata bashing will be part of the event. And you can expect much more fun! For details, click here:

June & July, 2011
Have you joined the Camp zoo of Phoenix Zoo last year? Camp themes and activities of 2011 are brand new! Yet the fun remains the same. During the summer at Camp zoo, your kids will be able to explore the nature world and get up-close contacts with animals.
Outdoor activities, games, in depth investigations and learning will be involved in the camp. The camp is divided into 8 sessions. Here is the schedule:
Session 1: June 6 - 10
Session 2: June 13 - 17
Session 3: June 20 - 24
Session 4: June 27 - July 1
Session 5: July 5 - 8

October, 2011
On October 15, Phoenix Zoo will celebrate its annual event, Rendez-Zoo 2011. This annual event is meant to support Phoenix Zoo and its over 200 endangered animals.
