One can take anywhere between half an hour and two hours to cover the peak and come back down or you can choose to enjoy a leisurely picnic atop the peak with family. There are 2 main trails: the Circumference Trail, which is 3.75 miles to the top, and the Summit Trail which is 1.2 miles to the top. While the latter takes longer it is best suited for family hikes as it is an easier climb.
