Things to Know for Visitors: Phoenix Zoo's Upcoming Event Schedule and Profile

Among the entertainment options in Phoenix, the zoo is of much importance. The visitors to the zoo are provided with several programs which aim at travel groups, school children, youth and families visiting the place. The summer camps offered here attract several people.

The night camp is one of the most common and highly popular events conducted at the Phoenix Zoo and is available every night. The formats and target people vary a lot. If you want to participate in the night camp, advance registration would be required.

Each month there would be some special events and you can enjoy some of most exciting events at the zoo in the month of August, 2010. There are two special events that would be conducted in August and include' Prowl and Play' and 'The Phoenix Zoo and Bank of America Museum'.

The latter would be conducted during the entire first week of July and the Prowl and Play is scheduled to take place from 6 pm to 9.30 pm on 14th of August. This event can be enjoyed by all family members and you can enjoy the zoo in the dark. Dark hiking is an important part of the program.

Members need to play only $5 and non-members have to pay $6. If you are a customer of 'Bank of America', one ticket in the category of general admission would be provided free of cost as part of the first event during the first week of August.
