Waterworld Safari
After serving Arizonians and Americans for a glorious 16 years, the Waterworld Safari Phoenix managed by the Golfland Entertainment has permanently shut its function since September 2, 2008. Back in the days, Waterworld Safari was a rave amongst the people and the favorite place for families and youngsters for Phoenix travel to chill and relax and have a good time.
Always action packed and full of adventures, Waterworld Safari was a place you could visit as many times and not get bored of it.
The salient features of this awesome theme park were:
1) Multiple Entry: Very few parks have so much convince of clients in mind as the Waterworld Safari. Once you purchased the day pass of the park, not only could you stay there for the entire day till the park shut, you could also go back home and enter again without paying anything extra.
2) Rules: To ensure that the visitors didn't face any problems in the park, there were a series of rules that were strictly enforced. The visitors weren't allowed to bring outside tubes, rafts or water toys but had to rent them there and in case you left in the middle, the rental people would take care of them till you would return. Like most other entertainment places, no outside food was allowed in but the park had an amazing range of foods that the hungry people could indulge on.
3) Lifeguards: The Waterworld Safari kept the safety of the people on the top of its list of priorities. While one was busy splashing water and having fun, there were professional attentive lifeguards on the sides of the pools, alert to prevent any unfortunate incident.
4) In case you weren't the ones who didn't want to spend too much time in the water at one go, there were plenty of spots available near the attractions where you could sit, have a snack in the shade and keep an eye on your kids.
The Waterworld Safari Phoenix was however not famous only because of all these brilliant features. What made it special and different than the other water parks were the 16 amazing slides and attractions here.
From the 650,000 gallon wave pool called the Serengeti Surf, to the relaxing Zambezi River, from the Jungle Jim's Children Pool which gave the children a wet African Safari experience, all of these kept the visitors of all ages for Phoenix AZ travel occupied for hours to an end.
